A working meeting on conclusion of the Ukraine-Eurojust cooperation agreement was held on 19 November 2013

19 November 2013, The Hague, the Netherlands. Mrs. Valeriia Lutkovska, the head of the delegation of Ukraine to negotiations on conclusion of the Ukraine-Eurojust cooperation agreement paid a working visit to the Eurojust premises and met Ms. Malci Gabrijelcic, the head of External relations team, National member of Slovenia to Eurojust.
During the meeting the Parties discussed the current situation on the negotiating process. The Eurojust Party has underscored its appreciation of the steps done by the Ukrainian Party in the sphere of reformation of the personal data protection system in Ukraine. It has also been mentioned that after the most important legal framework was adopted by the parliament the system of personal data protection of Ukraine meets the European standarts.
On its turn, the Ukrainian Party provided explanatory information regarding the most recent reforms and practical implementation of legal acts in this sphere.
The Parties have reached an agreement to hold a study visit of the Eurojust experts to Ukraine within the first quarter of 2014.
