On February 11, 2014 the Head of Economic Division of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands took part in Global research alliance on agricultural greenhouse gases workshop for nonmember countries organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands.

 The event’s speakers informed the participants about the tendencies of the global agricultural development, environmental and functional challenges that branch of economy faces in the modern world, the future development of the Dutch agricultural sector as well as presented a detailed overview on the current GRA activity.

 Along the run of the discussion the workshop’s participants came to the conclusion that GRA non-member countries should get more involved into that project’s activity with the aim to develop both environmentally friendly and economically sound national agricultures.
