De Roede Hoed center in Amsterdam hosted an expert meeting organized by the PvdA National Working Group Europe jointly with the Foundation Max van der Stoel.
Participants of the discussion were Bob Deen (Senior Advisor at the OSCE), Marina Ohanjanyan (Foundation Max van der Stoel project manager), Kati Piri (PvdA candidate at the elections to the European Parliament), Michiel Servaes (MP, PvdA Foreign Affairs) Wilbur Perlot (Senior researcher, Institute "Clingendael").
The participants discussed the crisis in Ukraine and tensions in the international relations caused by the Russian aggression against our country, as well as possible ways of responding to it by the Netherlands and the international community.
Also invited to say a few words was Ambassador of Ukraine in the Netherlands Olexander Horin. In his short speech, the Ambassador of Ukraine thanked the Netherlands for their consistent support for the territorial integrity and independence of our country and a strong position on the European aspirations of Ukraine. He also told those present about the recent events in Ukraine.
