Representatives of the Embassy commemorate those who died in the concentration camp Amersfoort

Representatives of the Embassy took part in the Commemoration Day of those who died in the concentration camp Amersfoort during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Hundreds of victims lost their lives at this concentration camp, among them also the citizens of the former Soviet Union.
The event was organized by the Fund National Monument Camp Amersfoort. The representatives of the governmental circles of the Netherlands, Dutch veterans, former prisoners and their relatives, the Dutch Red Cross, militaries, representatives of the local authorities and the diplomatic corps and also journalists participated in the abovementioned event.
At the end of the programme the wreaths were laid at the Stone Man – the monument to those who died at the concentration camp Amersfoort.
