Petro Poroshenko informed the interlocutor on the situation in the East of Ukraine and emphasized the importance of consolidated resolute support to our state from the EU member-states.

The Head of State expressed hope that member-states of the EU will discuss and support the decision on the introduction of the third level of sanctions against Russia. “I am confident that today, the decision will be unanimous. We count on resolute actions of the EU that will stop the aggression against Ukraine,” he said.

The President emphasizes that the world shouldn’t forget the tragedy of Malaysia Airlines aircraft. “We are both interested in completing complex, transparent and objective investigation of the plane crash and publish its official results,” Petro Poroshenko said.

The Head of State invited Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte to visit Ukraine.
