On January 20, 2015 the representative of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands took part in the multilateral meeting on preparing for the International Energy Charter to be held on May 21-22, 2015 in The Hague.

The number of practical issues was discussed during the meeting, in particular concerning signing of the International Energy Charter during the aforementioned Ministerial Conference.

International Energy Charter is going to become the main tool for the implementation of the energy policies of the countries of the world, in particular to strengthen energy security and minimize environmental problems in the world, promote diversification of energy markets, as well as to create favorable business climate for investment and new technologies.
