In the framework of his working visit to the Netherlands, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Bert Koenders.
The Ministers discussed in detail the current situation in the east of Ukraine, in particular the implementation of Minsk agreements, including the issue of legally groundless detention of citizens of Ukraine by Russia.
The sides also talked about further joint actions of Ukraine, the Netherlands, Australia, Belgium and Malaysia to bring to justice those guilty of bringing down Malaysian Airlines airplane flight MH17, especially in the context of Russia's veto in the UN Security Council of a resolution on the establishment of an international tribunal for that purpose.
Pavlo Klimkin and Bert Kunders also exchanged views on the priorities of the Dutch presidency of the EU in the first half of 2016.
