The conference “Confronting the world in disarray. How to stop war on Ukrainian Donbas” took place in The Hague Campus of Leiden University.

The distinguished speakers made presentations on ongoing Russian aggression in Donbas region and the situation in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.

Among the speakers were: H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine in The Netherlands Vsevolod Chentsov, Prof. Dr. Joris Voorhoeve, former Dutch Minister of Defense and Professor at Leiden University, Mr. Andriy Senchenko, Ukrainian civic leader, politician, Chairman of NGO “Syla Prava” and Tetiana Perchenko, coordinator of the project “Peacekeeping processes on Donbas”.

After the presentations there was a vivid exchange of views between the speakers and the students about the situation on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and possible ways of their de-occupation and reintegration.
