In the focus of the meeting was the launch of the project «Welcome to Mennonite Europe» by the International Menno Simons Center and Vrije University of Amsterdam. The project is aimed to fulfill further research of Mennonite’s history, the geography of their settlements in Europe. The story of Mennonites in Ukraine occupies a very significant place in this research.

The parties discussed the realization of this project, in particular the involvement of Ukrainian universities and scientific institutions to participate in «Welcome to Mennonite Europe».
