On September 18, 2012 Queen Beatrix delivered her annual speech from the throne at a joint meeting of both Chambers of the Dutch Parliament. This ceremony traditionally marks the start of the parliamentary year. Ambassador of Ukraine in the Kingdom of the Netherlands H.E. Dr. Olexander Horin took part in the ceremony as well as the representatives of the Dutch Government, Parliament and diplomatic corps.

The Queen’s speech has defined the priorities for the Government of the Netherlands for the next year in internal and foreign policy.
