On September 5, 2012 the reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine took place in The Hague. In his welcome speech Ambassador of Ukraine Olexander Horin paid attention to the main achievements of Ukraine during the past 21 years. The Ambassador also underscored that success of Euro-2012 proved the ability of our state to organize such large-scale events at high level.

The representatives of the Dutch Government, business and cultural community, international organizations as well as the diplomatic corps have come to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine. The representatives of the Ukrainian community also participated in the event.

The guest have also enjoyed the presentation of goods by Ukrainian manufacturers, namely the brandy by The House of vintage cognacs Tavria.
