Attention of foreigners and stateless persons!

Concerning temporary ban for entrance of foreigners and stateless persons to Ukraine

The Embassy of Ukraine hereby informs you that on 13.03.2020 the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has decided to introduce temporary restrictions for entry of persons into the territory of Ukraine in order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory illness caused by coronavirus (COVID-19).
Starting at 00 hrs. 01 min (Kyiv time) From March 16, 2020 until April 24, 2020, foreigners and stateless persons will not be allowed to enter the state border of Ukraine, including Ukraine, for transit purposes as well.
This restriction will not apply to foreigners and stateless persons in the following categories:
- employees of foreign diplomatic missions, consular posts and representations of international organizations accredited in Ukraine, as well as their families;
- persons who are holders permanent or temporary residence permits in Ukraine.
The regime of departure of foreigners and stateless persons from the territory of Ukraine remains unchanged.
Citizens of Ukraine have the right to cross the state border of Ukraine for entry / exit during the specified period.
At the same time, a mandatory 14-day observation procedure will be applied to our citizens who will return to Ukraine from the countries where the cases of coronavirus infection have been registered (COVID-19).
Diplomatic missions of foreign states and international organizations in Ukraine have been duly informed concerning the above-mentioned.
