On the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, a solemn prayer service for the freedom and independence fighters of Ukraine took place in the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in Utrecht. The event was attended by Ukrainian servicemen undergoing rehabilitation in the Netherlands. Dignity and freedom are inseparable. These are the ideals for which the Cossacks, soldiers of the Ukrainian People's Republic, figures of the Executed Rennaisance and fighters of the Ukrainian insurgent army all fought. These are the ideals that Ukrainians defended during the two revolutions in 2004 and 2013, and continue to defend to this day, repelling the armed aggression of the enemy, sometimes at the cost of their own health and lives.
