"Finding colors, new ideas in real beauty and ethos that lives in Ukraine". Jan van Gogh

On February 5, 2013 the Ambassador of Ukraine O.Horin opened the exhibition of Dutch contemporary artist Jan van Gogh’s paintings titled "Finding colors, new ideas in real beauty and ethos that lives in Ukraine."

The exhibition of 23 paintings allocated in Hilton The Hague and is open to the general public. Particular attention was paid by visitors to the cycle of paintings "Karpaty" that were created after visiting by the artist our country. For ten years Jan Van Gogh has exhibited his works at Lviv autumn salon. As artist stresses "Ukraine became for me an opening of another world, a world rich of history, folk traditions, folklore, and knowledge of Ukrainian art."

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, Dutch officials, and the Ukrainian community in the Netherlands.

The exhibition will continue until March 15, 2013.
