The head of the diplomatic mission visited the University of Twente to hold negotiations with the President of the Executive Council of the University of Twente Dr. A.H.Flierman and the Director of the Kennispark Twente Dr. K.Eijkel.
Among other things discussed during the meetings there were the issues of starting cooperation between the University of Twente and a number of Ukrainian universities, as well as the use the Dutch experience to establish scientific and technological parks in Ukraine.

In the East Netherlands Chamber of Commerce the Ambassador met with the Overijssel province’s business representatives. Olexander Horin performed the "Doing Business in Ukraine" presentation at the meeting.

The Ambassador visited a number of the province’s enterprises:
- «Selo BV» (food industry packaging equipment);

- «Trioliet Mullos BV» (various agricultural machinery);

- «Rapide International» (perfumery and skincare products).

At the abovementioned Ambassador’s events a number of practical arrangements was reached concerning the further development of Ukrainian-Dutch relations in the humanitarian, economic and investment spheres.
