On March 19, 2013 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Olexander Horin accompanied by economic division of the Embassy made a regional working trip to province Friesland (City of Leeuwarden).

During that trip the head of the diplomatic mission visited company “The Friesian” which specializes in the milk production and milk cattle breeding. At the workshop attended by “The Fiesian” and other regional dairy companies’ directors as well as representatives of the City of Leeuwarden a broad range of bilateral trade, economic and investment issues was discussed with an emphasis on cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands in the milk production.

Diplomats also visited the Dairy campus, an industrial research center for the new technologies of cattle farming, production of milk, clean energy and organic fertilizers.

The number of practical arrangements concerning the further development of bilateral cooperation was reached during the event.
