In the context of the commemoration of the 26th Anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Oleksandr Horin held a speech at the Chernobyl symposium organized on April 19, 2013 in the city of Leiden by the Leiden University Student Association for Development Cooperation in the Netherlands (SOL).
While addressing students, researchers and teaching staff members of the mentioned university the head of the diplomatic mission informed about the grounds and consequences of this man-made disaster, as well as the efforts of our state supported by the international community to overcome its consequences.
Availing himself of the opportunity the Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Government and people of the Netherlands for their assistance in that regard.
