In November 4, 2015 the representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine, business associations and companies of bioenergy sector, Netherlands Business Council for Trade Promotion, scientists and researchers in the field of bioenergy took part in the Expert Meeting «Perspectives for Bio-Dutch energy solutions in Ukraine» in the Hague.

The event was aimed to expand the investment opportunities in the energy sector of Ukraine for Dutch entrepreneurs and improve bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

During the meeting the participants discussed prospects of the development of the bioenergy sector in Ukraine. Speakers stressed the competitive and cost advantages of alternative energy in Ukraine.

The participants of the meeting expressed interest in expanding cooperation and shared vision of the business development of bioenergy sector in the light of experience of the Netherlands in Ukraine.

Mr. Willy Bijen from «Kara Energy Systems» presented a success story of his business in cooperation with Ukrainian partners.
