November 5, 2015, the Embassy hosted a master class on making lalka dolya, which is a creative interpretation of Ukrainian rag dolls, known as Motanky. Spouses of the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Netherlands were invited to the master class. During the event, women had the opportunity to learn more about the ancient Ukrainian traditions, folk craft, to make with own hands lalka dolya, which is a symbol of happy destiny and family talisman.
