On the 9th of May the Ambassador of Ukraine Olexander Horin and the representatives of the Embassy took part in the ceremony of wreath-laying dedicated to the 67th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The ceremony took place at the Field of Glory at the Rusthof cemetery ( Amersfoort) where 865 soldiers from the former Soviet republics are buried. The flowers were also laid at the monument Koedriest, dedicated to the soviet soldiers, prisoners of the concentration camp Amersfoort.

The representatives of the Embassies of Russian Federation, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kazakhstan also participated in the ceremony as well as Dutch veterans, representatives of the Dutch local authorities.
