On 21 November 2024, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Netherlands Oleksandr Karasevych participated in “Clingendael State of the Union Conference 2024” as a speaker in the opening panel: The Future of Ukraine.
During expert discussions with Bob Deen, Head of Security Unit at the Clingendael Institute, Julia Soldatiuk-Westerveld, Senior Research Fellow at the Clingendael Institute and Monika Sie Dhian Ho, General Director at the Clingendael Institute as moderator, took place an exchange of views on ending Russian aggression and achieving a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine.
Ambassador Karasevych particularly emphasized the resilience of the Ukrainian people for over 1,000 days since the full-scale Russian aggression and stressed that there can be no agreement on Ukraine without Ukraine.
The Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael, among the other issues, contributes to settling a secure, sustainable and just peace in Ukraine. In particular, it is deeply involved into the implementation of the Ukraine’s Peace Formula, particularly Point 10.
The Clingendael State of the Union Conferenceis one of a key annual event that brings together experts to discuss the world's most challenging developments.
